2.3 - Race Absences

This sub-section outlines the general rules applied where a member is unable to attend an event for any reason(s).

2.3.1

If you are unable to attend a race, you are required to give notice of your absence at least 2 hours prior to the session start. This is done by reacting with the "Decline" icon in the Discord server's division check-in area. It is your responsibility to make sure your reaction is captured.

2.3.2

If you miss 3 events in a row, you will lose your full-time seat and be subsequently be moved down to the back of the reserve driver pool. (In certain personal circumstances leeway will given to this rule).

2.3.3

Any driver who misses five consecutive events will be moved to the back of the reserve pool, regardless of any reasoning. New drivers who join mid-season and miss their first three races will also be removed to the back of the reserve driver pool.

2.3.4

If you fail to notify us of your non-attendance via the check-in for 3 events in a row (a "no-show" - absence from the race without notifying a member of RSF1 staff) then you will be dropped to non driver without notice.

2.3.5

If you fail to notify us of your non-attendance via the check-in 3 times across the season (a "no-show" - absence from the race without notifying a member of RSF1 staff), then you will be dropped to non driver without notice.

2.3.6

Check-in for the race will close at 12 Noon (UK Time) on the day of the race, any rsponses after this time may be ignored if the grid already full.
