3.18 - Re-Entering The Track
This sub-section outlines the rules that apply regarding re-entering the track after an incident during RSF1 events.
3.18.1
If you spin off or leave a track whilst the pack is close, please ensure you wait until you have free space before re-joining. Failure to do so could result in receiving a penalty.
3.18.2
Should a driver cause damage to other cars or impede another car whilst trying to re-join the race track, they will be penalised accordingly, based on the extent of the damage they have caused.
3.18.3
Drivers are not permitted to use the “Reset to Track” feature at any time during a qualifying session or a race. Should a driver be seen using this feature, they will be given a minimum penalty of 1 penalty point and a 5 second time penalty. However, if a driver is beached, they are allowed to use this feature when no cars are around.
Drivers that find themselves beached out on track (for any reason) should create a clip of this while using the "Reset to Track" feature to avoid getting penalised.
