5.1 - Game Penalties

This page describes the types of Penalties that can be applied to players as per In-Game conventions.

5.1.1

If you receive a time penalty from the game and you feel this was awarded unfairly, you can make an enquiry for the penalty to be removed.

5.1.2

When making such an enquiry, you need to provide evidence of the penalty being applied. Evidence can be either in the form of video footage, or a picture of the race director screen (post-race) showing the reason for the penalty and a timestamp from when it was applied.

5.1.3

Compensation will not be given for 3 second time penalties.

5.1.4

Compensation will not be given for any time penalties served in pit lanes.

5.1.5

Any driver that receives a 5 or 10 second penalty that has been added to race times (rather than being served in pit lanes) can request to have the penalty re-evaluated by The Stewards for removal at their discretion.

5.1.6

Unfair 10 second time penalties can be reported to The Stewards for investigation. These can be either removed entirely, or reduced to a 3 second time penalty for cut corners.

5.1.7

If you feel the game has unfairly disqualified you from the race, you should submit video evidence to The Stewards. If it is deemed that the disqualification was justified, it will remain.

5.1.8

If the disqualification is deemed to have been clearly unfair, or came as a result of a game glitch, then you will be classified as the last finisher and score full points for that position.
