This page describes the types of Penalties that can be applied to players by The Stewards.
The following penalties and bans can be applied by the Stewards:
A time penalty.
A qualifying ban for the next race.
A disqualification for the next race.
A one-race ban.
A multiple-race ban.
Permanent removal from the RSF1 (with the approval of the Committee)
5.2.1
Time penalties will be given out based on the time lost becauss of the incident or the positions lost because of the incident.
5.2.2
This list isn’t exhaustive, and the Stewards reserve the right to award time penalties as they see fit.
5.2.3
Incidents that occur during qualifying or the race (and deemed punishable by the Stewards) may result in a time penalty or penalty points.
5.2.4
Time penalties that are given by the Stewards will be applied to the same race in which they are awarded. However, if a driver finishes a race without earning any points, the penalty will be converted into licence penalty points. This conversion is determined by a combination of the RSF1 Penalty Point System and the Time Penalty Conversion System. The Stewards may also assign penalty points to drivers based on collision severity, following the rules outlined in the Penalty Point System. The resulting value is then combined with any time penalties converted into penalty points, providing an overall tally of penalty points.
If a driver is promoted to a points position due to a stewarding penalty demoting another points finisher, they will be issued their standard penalty and will not have their time penalties converted into penalty points.
5.2.5
Any penalties will be aimed at the person who has performed erroneously. RSF1 cannot compensate anyone as a result of someone else’s actions.
5.2.6
Any driver involved in an incident in a social race will be subject to review by the Stewards and may a social race ban (any number of races) should they be deemed responsible for the incident.
