4.5 - The Appeals Process

Each driver will have the opportunity to submit up to three appeals per season, giving you the chance to challenge stewards' decisions. Whether you believe an incident was misjudged or you've uncovered new evidence, this is your chance to make your case.

We believe that this process contributes to a fair and competitive racing environment, reflecting our commitment to the RSF1 community.

Submission Eligibility

Appeals can only be submitted for incidents in which you were directly involved or the driver who originally submitted the offence to appeal the stewards decision. Any other submissions will still count towards your three appeals but will be automatically declined. For instance, if someone submits an appeal on behalf of their teammate who has run out of appeals, it will not be considered.

Submission Window

Appeals must be submitted within 24 hours after the release of the stewards' report. We want to ensure fairness and consistency, so please be mindful of this strict deadline.

Submission Process

Appeals will be submitted through a dedicated form on our Discord server. This form includes separate sections for each tier, making it organized and easy for our appeals team to review.

Evidence & Explanation

The form allows you to present any evidence that supports your case, along with a detailed explanation of why you believe the stewards' decision needs reconsideration. Make your case compelling!

Automatic Denial for Late Submissions

Any appeals submitted after the 24-hour window will still count towards your three appeals but will be automatically denied. We want to ensure a fair and efficient process for everyone.

Appeals Team Review

Our dedicated appeals team will thoroughly review each case, considering the incident, stewards' report, and your appeal. They will determine whether the stewards' decision requires amending or if it stands.

Transparent Decision

The final decision, along with the reasons behind it, will be promptly posted underneath each relevant stewards' report. This ensures transparency and provides insight into the appeal process.
