3.20.1 - Minor Collisions
This sub-section outlines the rules that apply regarding minor racing collisions during RSF1 events.
What constitutes a minor collision?
A minor collision is classified as a collision that causes none or very little (light green) damage to a car, or a collision that results in a significant change to the direction of the car from the expected direction but is easy to correct without any real loss in time.
Are there any penalties for minor collisions?
Most minor collision cases are classed as racing incidents by the Stewards with no further action required. However, in some cases, the Stewards may award ”a minor penalty“ for these incidents.
